Do you let your SO control what you wear? Like the length of shorts or dresses?

My fiance and I just got in a huge argument because I wanted to get these cute flowery shorts. Elastic waistband loose and comfy and he said he didn't want me warring them out in public because my ass would be hanging out. And he doesn't want other guys looking at my ass... am I wrong for being upset that he wants to control what I wear?

They weren't even that short and I didn't even try them on. I know my level of comfort leaving the house and if I thought they were slutty I probably wouldn't wear them out anyways, but his comment sent me over the edge...
