Chance of pregnancy?

I’m going to buy a test today, but I won’t be able to get out of the house for several hours, and need someone to talk to…

I’m 6 months postpartum from my second baby and have been getting regular periods for four cycles. They were all 31 days long. Today marks day 36 of my current cycle - AKA I’m late!

My husband and I are done having babies. He got a vasectomy two months ago, but hasn’t sent in his sample yet (doctor is making him wait 12 weeks). In the meantime, we haven’t been having sex within four days of ovulation and he’s been pulling out every single time. I know this isn’t foolproof, but it has worked for us for years without incident in the past (13+ years).

I also had an ultrasound done (non-pregnancy related reasons) three days before my most recent ovulation, so I know my uterus was empty at that time (23 days ago, currently 20 dpo). The tech did say that I had “a ton of follicles” at the time, which I thought nothing of, but now I’m wondering if I’m just extra fertile right now??

Given all the factors, I just don’t know how likely it is that I could have gotten pregnant.

My cervix is still positioned high (I can barely reach it to check if it’s soft), my CM hasn’t dried up, and I’m experiencing constant dull cramping. I’ve also been more hungry and craving carbs - which I know can be normal before AF, but that hasn’t typically been the case for me.

Some things are similar to my previous pregnancies, but some are not. With my first, I was nauseous by this time. But with my second, it took another two weeks to feel sick. So I don’t know!

Does anyone have a similar experience?? I’m freaking out a little until I get go get a test 😭
