How did you ladies decide on a bottle brand? Please comment why you prefer

Any reasons you chose certain bottles over others?
any tips for moms to be for bottle selection? 
I’ve also been told you want pacifiers to match the nipple of bottle, if anyone can elaborate on this

My baby was a preemie. When she was in the NICU, they kept trying Dr. Browns bottles. She would not take them. I had samples of the avent natural bottles that we brought to the hospital, she took to them immediately. Never had any gas or colic issues. I also preferred them because they were easy to wash (I don’t have a dishwasher). The hospital used the avent pacifiers (the big round green ones) she seemed to like them so we stayed with them for a while. But they would not stay in her mouth. I switched her to the avent ultra soft/ultra air, so glad I did. It never cause any issues with her bottles, and they stayed in her mouth so much better due to the nipple of the pacifier being shaped differently. Hope this helps!

We started with Avent but the milk would go everywhere. We have been using Dr. Browns and she likes that bottle. I recommend buying 1 of each bottle you would like to try and from there your child will decide what they like. We had about 6 different bottles and only tried 2. As soon as she latched to Dr. Brown bottles we just kept using it. Also Dr. Brown sells pacifiers that look exactly like the nipple of the bottle. Dr. Brown bottles are also great for colic.

Dr.Browns. I tried the Phillips Avent at first and the flow was too fast. My baby was choking on the milk.

I chose the Avent all natural feel because he seemed to be able to latch to the bottle and then we breastfeed a little as well so it also helped with that

I got sample boxes from several baby registries and each one had a few bottles and pacifiers so I did not buy any. 
We started with a bottle that looked the most like my nipple. It worked but the flow was too fast (evenflo). We then switched to avent natural but with the size 0 nipple (came with 0+). That worked until baby decided they didn’t want to take that bottle anymore when I went back to work. I had a mam sample bottle (comes with the slowest flow nipple) and baby took to that perfectly absolutely no issues. Easy to clean and the decrease in burping was very noticeable. 
As for pacifiers. Whatever baby likes the best works. I tied out all the ones I had and Boon worked the best. Baby was breastfed and had no problems using a pacifier from the beginning
