Does ur toddler play with their toys?

She’s 2 she has dolls, strollers, a little barn but barely plays with anything she’ll just roll around the floor, play with food I’m cooking, go in her tent idk if I should buy her better toys or is this normal?! 
What are some fun toys your toddler plays with for awhile?!

Do you play with her and show her how to play with them or do you just leave her to her own devices?

She may just be overwhelmed with the number of options. If we dump the toy basket in the living room, our kid is gone, playing with a tissue box in the den. If we put out blocks and a few cars, he plays with them. (And still finds the tissue box….)

My son is two and his imagination is taking off. He loves playing with his toys now but sometimes I have to sit and play with him for a little bit to show him how to play. 
He loves cars, and dinosaurs and little action figures. And sometimes he pretends his stuffed animals are babies. 
I think once they tap into their imagination, their playing really starts.

How long is it now that she doesn't play with toys? If it's several days ir weeks- I would say : a phase.
But if my daughter wouldn't play with toys at all- I would be concern...
However I think a spoon is a toy, a stick is a toy... it just depends on what the child is doing with it. 
If it's just smushing/destroying/touching it would sound like some sensory disorder...
And I'm curious what toys do you have.
My daughter is 2,5. When she was 2 she liked 2-pieces puzzle (maybe 4 pieces...), painting (crayons, markers, paint), gathering stuff (e.g. packing in a bag) and taking them to another room, playing with a doll, cooking in her "kitchen", washing the floors, reading books, making music with her (and ours) instruments, cars...
Actually we have too many toys so thw only problem I have- I knkw it's sometimes too hard for her to decide which toy she should play with...

My son between 15-24 months preferred non-toys as toys. Stuff like pots and pans, wooden spoons, etc. Sometime between 2-2.5 he started to play with more traditional toys.  He was always good about playing in his play kitchen when we got it at 18 months.

My son plays with his toys. He also plays with things that aren’t toys. He’s outside as much as possible where he plays with his toys or dirt or the tractors and trailers. He’s 2.5.

I rotate our toys. I keep them out for a couple days to a week and then put those away and get new toys out. Her favorite toys are her baby dolls (with accessories) and her play kitchen/shopping cart. She also loves her little people play sets too.
