My baby is one month old and she is breast fed. The first 2 weeks I pumped and bottle fed bc she wouldn’t latch properly and finally we got her to latch so for the past 2 weeks she’s been exclusively breastfed.

My question is, is it normal for her to only feed for 10-15 mins on one side and go 2-3 hours in between feedings? I used to switch sides in the middle of feeding, but then I was told that the fattier milk comes in later so it’s better to just switch sides with each feeding.

I keep seeing moms posting about how their baby breastfeeds for 30-40 mins and I’m concerned..

The only thing I can think of is that my let down is fast and I have plenty of milk so maybe she is just full after 10 mins ..

also- she is gaining weight and seems content after feedings!
