does anyone else have a biting/hitting/shoving child?

looking for some moral support here 😩

my boy doesnt hit or bite out of malice, it’s more that he is so excited to be playing with other kids he runs up to them and shoves, or hits (repeatedly), or (the worst one) goes in for a bite.

i’m at my wits end, i’ve been trying all sorts of different ways to deal with it and nothing seems to be working.

it doesn’t help that any time we’re at toddler classes / groups the adults have to wear masks and socially distance, which really impedes being able to communicate with my son.

just wondering if there’s anyone else here going through it? i feel like i’m the only one at the groups we attend who is going through this.

everyone says “oh it’s just a phase”, or “they don’t call it the terrible twos for nothing!”, but honestly it’s been going on for months. we seem to be getting somewhere then all of a sudden he’ll revert back and it gets worse.
