Do not put your baby to sleep on any soft surface?

What do they mean not to put baby to sleep on a soft surface? So like on a pillow? I currently have him asleep in his snuggle me organic? Is that ok?

Technically no unless you’re sitting there watching them. The only safe sleep space is a flat, firm mattress (crib mattress or basinet) with a single fitted sheet. No blankets, no pillows, no toys.

Safe sleep usually means in a crib or bassinet with a firm infant mattress that is designed for the crib or bassinet with no loose blankets or toys. No. Snuggle me and dockatot are ONLY for supervised napping/playing/resting. 
At bedtime and naptime baby needs to be alone in a crib or other approved sleep location with nothing besides a sheet on it. No stuffed animals, no loose blankets, nothing.

Baby needs to either sleep in a bassinet or crib…reduces the risk of SIDS. Make sure nothing in the crib (stuffed animals, blankets,pillows).
