He’s just stringing me along.

My man and I have been together for almost 7 years. He proposed to me 3 years ago, and I graciously accepted. We planned to go ring shopping together, but we hit a rough patch and agreed to work on things before deciding on moving forward with wedding planning. We both lost family members on top of everything else so this time in our lives was rather difficult and heartbreaking..Things just felt sour during that period due to circumstance beyond our control, but anyway, we moved past all of that. He actually proposed again with a beautiful ring that we picked out together around this time last year. I had specifically told him that I didn’t want him buying a ring unless he was sure he wanted to marry me and sure he wanted to move forward and set a wedding date. He expressed that’s what he wanted and then two months later, he proposed. He has not once initiated a conversation about our future, setting a wedding date or anything like that. I’ve brought it up a couple of times and he will say we will talk about it this weekend but somehow we never do. He’s away working and doesn’t want to talk about anything over the phone either. I told him this morning I was done. He of course blew my phone up after that, but he has to know I’m done.
