Has anybody gotten a colposcopy/biopsy while pregnant?

Question

I'm about to get a colposcopy of my cervix and they told me they're going to do a biopsy as well if they find any abnormal cells, even while Im pregnant. I know they're doctors and they know if its safe or not but Im still worried about my baby. Im a little over 14 weeks. Anyone else been through this and had no issues?
*Please only answer if you've had one while pregnant, all I care about is personal experience. Thanks.

I did and I’m glad that I did. I found that I had HPV and severe dysplasia. My doctor monitored it throughout my pregnancy to ensure that it didn’t progress further, then performed the LEEP procedure when I was 6 weeks postpartum. I had a healthy pregnancy and delivery with no complications.  Everything has healed very well, the HPV infection has cleared my body. I’ve gone on to have another healthy pregnancy and delivery.

I did. That’s not something I wanted to wait on. And I never refuse a Pap smear either. 
It wasn’t very long for me.

You can totally wait until after baby, you don't absolutely need a pap smear while pregnant. If you'd like, ask them to explain the risks
