How much would you tip your bartender?

Our stupid venue requires a bartender to serve and that they’re licensed and insured.
We’re having 100 guests and one bartender. We’re mainly doing just beers and other canned drinks. No cocktails and our venue doesn’t allow shots.
How much would you tip a bartender that will be there from 3pm-12am? It’s one of their requirements when hiring for the night. They’re charging $425

For $425 is super cheap for such a long time of bartending. I'm looking at 2k for 5 hours. I'd honestly probably tip at least $400 because you're getting a steal of a deal

If your guests are difficult and rowdy then more for the bartenders troubles
You want to make it worth their while, they are still coming in to serve you it’s not like they’re getting the 425 they’re only getting the tip

Depends on their service. 
Just so so, I would give probably 20%. 
Horrible service (not just from being busy, I mean horrible attitude, not being behind the bar a lot and things like that) depending on how bad and what the circumstances were, would get less. 
Excellent service, I'd probably go 100% or around that.
