Lip tie

Looking for opinions before I go to a lactation consultant….

I don’t have pain while nursing and he’s gained weight fine, but he often struggles to stay latched…I can’t tell if his top lip is tucked in while latched either. He also gets these “blisters” after eating, which I’ve read mixed opinions on.

Thoughts?
