Question about water breaking?

So as I sat down on the couch I heard a loud pop I assumed it was my hip that just cracked. When I stood up there wasn't a gush or anything but I did feel something small come out but I'm thinking it was just watery discharge which I've been having. It didn't have a smell either. For any of you that have went through this what are your thoughts? I am 38 weeks.

My doc said your water breaking isn't always a big gush like everyone thinks, she said can be slow "trickle"...

In my experience my water breaking was a gush, but it also kept leaking until he was born. I was walking around with a towel between my legs and wearing a pad. It felt like i was peeing myself until I delivered.

Cough hard, try to sneeze, laugh, jump up and down. Does more come out? If so its probably your water!

My water broke in my sleep, like a water bed broke, but I was not in a water bed! Uncontrollable. I yelled at my husband to grab me a towel, and he grabbed me his shirt 😂

My water broke as I was walking back to my hospital bed after a bath (I was in ther for 6 days) and it just came out, no control at all! It didn't pop either. I literally thought I wet myself but I hadn't. Then it was just leaking slowly. I think it was a bit light brown in colour, it was very weird because it wasn't clear or yellow like urine. I know what to expect with baby no.2 now 😊

When my water broke, there wasn't a pop, just felt like a peed for a second because I was lying down, but once I got up to go change, it was a huge gush and it just kept coming out until I had my daughter. But my moms water broke at a steady dribble for about a week because it was a rip at the top of the sac, so she had a dry labour. It would probably be best if you did get Checked, just for precautions though because it can cause infections.
