Ear piercings?

If you have a baby girl when did you get her ears pierced??
I originally planned on doing it for her first birthday. Just curious to see what others have done. & the whole “ wait untill she can decide if she wants them or not “ no😄

No, my child deserves to have their body left intact without any sort of modifications. There’s zero reason to pierce an infant’s ears. It’s unnecessary pain for others’ benefit only. “Oh but she’ll look so cute!” Isn’t a reason to do it. I don’t plan to automatically pierce my son’s ears, I wouldn’t do it to a daughter either.

If we have a girl, we will wait until she asks for them and understands what the procedure is. We will not pierce them without her permission.

I have two little girls. One is 21 months and the other is 5 weeks. Definitely waiting until they are old enough to ask and to help take care of them. We will not be going anywhere but a tattoo parlor with a licensed piercer to have them done. They typically cant have them done until after their first round of shots at 8 weeks.

I am waiting to ask if she will even want them (my ears are not piecered and I have zero desire to do so). 
My SIL got her daughter's ears piecred at 6 months I think

I got my daughter’s done after her first round of shots. It worked well as she never tried to grab them and they were easy to clean. She’s 5 now and absolutely loves it.

Lol I waited until my daughter was two because I breastfed her and didn't want it to mess with comfort. I have friends who have done it as early as 3 months so its up to you. 🤷🏾‍♀️
