After 40 & TTC
Please tell me you can still conceive and carry a full term baby after the age of 40?
I have been working on my health for the past year (more intensely since February 2021) and I’ve lost a total of 40lbs with 30 of it this year. 5’9 / 228lbs. I have type 2 diabetes so trying to also lower that. I exercise 3-6 times a week and eat an okay diet. Mostly vegetarian, lots of water, but I have a sweet tooth. ;-)
We were both tested with me having a low AMH but everything else okay - regular periods, ovulation tests were positive, etc. and low sperm count and low motility for hubby. He put on 20 - 30lbs. Could that affect sperm?
I take natural supplements including cassava root which is natural type chlomid, vitex fruit- whatever helps.
I just turned 40 this last June 2021. Hoping to really try for baby in September after taking a break the last few months (having sex with protection). I’m on a Rx drug that can be detrimental to a fetus if I got pregnant, so trying to be safe.
I appreciate any help you can provide and best of luck to everyone. I’ve never wanted anything more than to have my own baby. ❤️ Thank you for reading!
Hubby and me in Vegas this last June :-)

Vegas with my mom in May. I carry a lot of my weight in the middle being an “Apple” body type. I do have a Spanx on here. The dress is fitted! ;-)
