Is 142/80 blood pressure considered high?

140/90 is considered stage 1 high BP in healthcare. 
I would call your dr regarding your headaches, you don’t want to become preeclamptic

Please take care of that. My mom bp got extremely high and it turned into an aneurysm and that’s how I lost her two weeks ago. Take care of yourself. ❤️❤️❤️

Not high enough to rush to the dr. Lay down and try again. It's normal to get spikes when we are on our feet and busy. If it stays high, that's more concerning, but 140 is still not emergent.

In the beginning of my pregnancy my blood pressure was 140’s/80’s my doctor said we will keep any eye on it, I was having headaches too. By the second trimester my BP went down to 120’s/80’s and the headaches stopped as well. If it hadn’t she was going to send me a high risk doctor and see what we should do. She didn’t want to lower my blood pressure as that was what the baby was used to but still wanted to keep an eye on it. I also did a 24 hr urine test to see if my protein was high, it wasn’t.  Definitely mention it to your doctor!

I have chronic hypertension (was diagnosed when I was 23, I’ll be 32 in September) and my doctor is pretty happy with 140s/80s when I come in. I’m also on labetalol 100mg 2x a day. 
If it’s high for you, definitely call your doctor and let them know. They will most likely check your urine for protein. Headaches can be a symptom of preeclampsia.

I'm going this going thru the same thing, this morning it was 156/88 accompanied by pounding headache the dr office wasn't to concerned
