When did you get rid of your rocking chair/glider?

If you took your rocker out of your child’s room, what age were they?  I have an almost 16 month old.  She will be 18/19 months when her brother comes this fall.  Now I’m starting to wonder if I should even bother getting a whole new rocking chair or just move hers into the baby’s new room??

I am never going to actually get rid of my glider.  I freaking LOVE fhaf thing!  But I have been thinking about moving it to the new baby’s room (due in August).  But I’m not sure yet.  My son is 21 months and I still use the glider daily with him.  I don’t rock him to sleep but I sit in it while getting him dressed and he sits in my lap for bedtime stories.  So I know I still need some sort of chair on there.

I have 2. One for my almost 2 year old and one for my almost 1 year old. I’ll probably get a third glider when my third is born. My oldest falls asleep on his own, but rocking is part of our routine. My almost one year old still needs to be rocked to sleep and I’ll most definitely rock a newborn to sleep.

My girl is two and we still have the glider in her room. We still sit in it to read at night. And she likes rocking in it herself

I moved my glider from my son's room to my daughter's room. Once she no longer needs rocked, it will go in my room.

We bought a new one but only bc I wanted a better one. We got rid of the rocking chair when we moved my oldest into a big girl bed. We were still rocking her every night until we switched beds. If you aren’t using it to rock to sleep or anything I would save the money and use your existing chair.
