I have distantly known my husband for about 3 years. We starte dating August 9, 2013, he told me he was going to marry me on our second date. (I though he was insane!) we found out we were pregnant Nov. 3 and he proposed Nov. 16... We would have gotten married anyway but my being pregnant gave my parents a reason to allow it at 17. We got Married April 12, 2014 and our son was born June 26, 2014 and we couldn't be happier! If you are in love then I say go for it no matter what people think it's your life! ? good luck!!

We got engaged only knowing each other for five weeks and married the following year. We have been married for five years, have a wee boy and we are trying for another baby - so go for it if you know it's right!

My mom always taught me you should know the person you're going to marry a minimum of 3 years. How long have you known this person? If you've only known them for as long as you've been dating then I'd definitely say to early. Make it past the infatuation stage first. Just my opinion. But who knows some ppl get married and knew eachother for a short amount of time... And they have lasted trough the years... Though I would think this is a rare occurrence

Time doesn't matter. Sometimes when you know, you know. My grandparents were together for 2 months before they got married and they were together for over 40 years!!! If you really love someone and have a connection with them you can make it work!!
