Fighting for custody and ex wants 50/50. My attorney says its rare that they don't get 50/50 and the judge will probably grant it to him even tho he's not that great of a man. The kids attorney says she does want some over nights with the Father and kids to happen but she isn't for 50/50 because of his addiction and disease.but also told me that she's not the judge and thinks the judge will give him if not that then super closer. Now hes asking for 50/50. Hes still in rehab he gets out in August. He has a place to use to have the kids before he gets his own place in September. Now our court date is July 22nd. Idk what to do. Im trying to settle before court. I dont have thousands of dollars to have trial go many days. Honestly I don't even want to spend my savings on trial. I don't want to give up and stop fighting for the children, I want to know I did everything I could. But im nervous ill waste my money and she will give 50/50 anyway. Idk what to do. Do I give him 50/50. Or keep fighting since even the kids attorney says she doesn't want 50/50. Anyone go through custody and give their story? Before anyone says I should get a new lawyer its 21 days out. I cant get a new lawyer now. So please only give advice that I can use right now.
