Help baby sit up ?

Did anybody use these to help baby sit by themselves and which was your favorite ? When did you start 4 months, 5 months, 6 months ?

Babies learn to sit up on their own.  They don’t need help.  Most of the things that sit them up are actually bad for their back and don’t really help anything.

Bumbos are not good for infants. They put baby in an improper sitting position than can mid align hips and pelvis and spine. 
Letting baby get to sitting by themselves without sitting positioners is best. Those positioners more so hinder or delay proper sitting. 
Sitting with support is your best bet, with pillows or a boppy pillow. 
If you would like one of those then the fisher price sit me up is better out of all of them. But ONLY a few minutes a day. Like 10-15min at a time a couple times a day.

Babies should learn to sit on their own by themselves, that way they strengthen the correct muscles. 
If I wanted my kids to ‘sit up’ to see me while I was cooking dinner or something, I’d have them in their rocker. 
Those bumbos look terrible, every baby I’ve seen in one looks wedged in and slumped over

Your bub will get there when they’re ready. Just keep doing tummy time and practicing supported sitting pose :)

For very short periods of time, like while we were having dinner and wanted our son included, we used a bumbo and then switched to a sit me up chair. I hated the sit me up chair. But the bumbo chair isn't good for teaching babies how to sit because it doesn't provide the best support for posture. 
For teaching my son how to sit on his own, we used a nursing pillow to support him. But he didnt really start actually sitting completely on his own until he started crawling and it was all at once

Like others have said, these things won’t help babe learn to sit and can actually delay that milestone. If you need to use something just for a short period to keep baby safe while you do something, that’s ok. Look into the “up seat”- it’s the only one recommended by several pediatric physical therapists. I started using the sit me up to help with neck/head control at 3-4mo. Didn't notice it helping much with learning to sit unassisted.

I didn't use any of these. All I had was my breastfeeding pillow and that was enough. Did lots and lots and LOTS of tummy time and my baby was sitting upright without support by 6 months. I trust my baby's biology 😊

Sit me up when I needed a safe space for her for a few mins and a laundry basket with toys in it when she got more balanced.
