How do you raise you kids in the fine line between being a bully and not being the kid who is bullied? I've raised my son not hit or tease other children. Like every kid he occasionally screws up, but in daycare and school, I never hear of him bullying other kids. Now there is a kid in class and I know he has behavioral issues, but it's gotten so bad that my son hates preschool because of this kid, but my son won't stand up for himself. This weekend we were at a friends house and their kid slammed the basement door in my son's face because he didn't want to play with him and the door hit him and my son fell down to the bottom of the steps. The other child was not made to apologize since it was the door that actually hit him. After crying my son got back up and tried played with him again. I don't want my kid being mean to other children, so how can I teach him to stand up for himself without being the bully himself.
