Yaz: side effects?

Thinking about taking Yaz but I'm worried I'll gain weight. Does anyone take it and have you gotten any side effects? Thanks

I took Yaz and didn't gain weight. It took a while for me to transition onto (irregular bleeding) and transitioning off it sucked - very painful first few periods. I experienced mid-cycle spotting the last 6 or so months I was on it. I also experienced quite a few visual migraines - about 5 in a year - which was unusual for me. I spoke to my doctor about my pill more often than I have with other pills. 
It's one of the more expensive options. Where I am in Sydney AU I usually spent $86-$95 on a refill... once it was $112. Are you picking it for a specific reason? It was kind of my last resort so I could justify some of the unpleasant side effects and high cost.
