Coughing baby

My baby seems to only be able to sleep when being held. She used to be able to sleep on her boppy or bassinet without a problem but the last few days when we lay her down, she sleeps alone for about 10 mins and wakes up stressed and coughing.

The cough sounds like she’s gasping for air or gagging. Is this normal? Or should I be concerned.

If we are holding her, awake or sleeping she does not cough or act like this. It’s only when we put her down, she cannot stay asleep.
