Mommy life

Belle

The misconception is that big people do not like to workout. I LOVE working out. I love the gym, the workout clothes, the lifting (nothing too heavy)...I love it because not only is it good for my body but its GREAT for my mind. I am a thinker, a daydreamer, thoughts run through my mind all day. Thoughts of the future, my goals, God, my marriage, friends and family...and now more than anything else, my son.

Working out at the gym also motivates me to eat better. Who wants to pay for the gym, workout until their legs are sore and NOT see the number of the weight scale decrease?

Before my prince was born I used to talk to God while at the gym. Tell Him my wants and desires. Ask Him why He found it important for me to be here. Listen to haitian lounge music while trying to run on the treasmill. Samuel Robuste gave me major motivation lol.

I say all this to say, since being my son's mom I've made it to the gym 2x. Trying to produce enough milk to feed and pump wasnt easy at first. Ive gained 35 lbs during my pregnancy and im so ready to get back to the gym. To get my thoughts back in order. To talk to God about my Ethan. To thank Him for healing my uterus so I can successfully carry my son. To talk to him about more goals and desires. Now that I finally have stored milk I can safely say I'm ready to start my weight goal journey again.
