How did you decide to only pump
So my little one was born tongue tied and lip tied. He is 3 months old. At 2 months he had his tongue tie cut. Pediatric ENT decided not to do his lip. We've met with a lactation consultant and doctors. He is gaining weight.
This is my dilemma, he now has a decent latch however his spitting up is horrible. The quantity of it is alarming. Doctors call it happy spitting but he isn't happy. It is causing him to want to eat more then too and it is a horrible cycle.
We've noticed when we just started incorporating bottles he hardly spits up and is so much more content and at ease.
Should I just switch to pumping and bottles? Is this just a phase? I didn't experience this with my first so I am new to this scenario.
