Toddler feeding?

My baby is 18 months old. I give 3 meals a day n 2 snacks. I feed her dinner at around 8pm and drinks milk at 9 and sleeps off. She gets up every day in the night at around 3 am for milk if i give water she cries. I kmow she will be hungry but  how to stop feeding in night. Not sure 8pm is early for her dinner time n she gets hungry. Pls pour suggestions. TIA

My guess is it’s not because your kiddo is hungry but because it’s become a comforting habit. You could maybe try just giving them less & less in the night, if for example you give them 6 ounces normally go down to 5 on night one, then 4 on night two, then 3 on night 3 etc. If they cry for more you just say “Sorry, milks all gone.” & try to comfort them in a different way. Eventually you will break the habit of the milk although the waking up & wanting comfort may take longer, a lot will depend on if you’re someone who’s willing to let your kiddo cry briefly otherwise you may just be on the hook for a bit of back rubbing/rocking/laying down with them/sitting in the room etc.

8 is kinda late for supper, imo. We do, and have done, supper between 5 and 530. At that age, she went to bed around 8 and slept through to about 6 with a 2-2.5 hour nap mod day. She'd have breakfast around 7, snack at 9-930, lunch 1130-12, snack at 3, and then supper.

100% it’s a comfort thing and an expectation, she’s waking for it out of habit. 
Also 8pm is really late for dinner, bedtime for a child that age should ideally be between 6:30pm and 8pm

Our daughter use to do it for the attention. She eats dinner at 6:30/7 and is in bed by 9. Doesnt wake up for anything since we were consistent about not giving her any cups or bottles during the night
