How do i keep my pool water clear?

i got a pool we just filled it on Saturday and its already cloudy and was wondering if there are any hacks or simple ways to keep the water clear? I have seen a few videos and lots of different advice is given so im hoping to get a simple and direct answer. Its above ground i think coleman brand pool. I havnt bought any chemical i dont know which to buy.

Go to a pool store/center. Typically they can test your water and give you suggestions or a system for you type of pool.

We just had our pool installed this spring. If you filled it via a garden hose get a chemical for getting metal out. Just search metal out pool chemical on Google and many will show (walmart and several chain stores sell it). The bottle will tell you how much to add. Then add pool shock (you can do metal out and this together). Depending on the size of your pool id say 2-6 of them initially. We have a 24' round pool and did 6. Run the pump and in a day or so you should see it clear right up. All while doing these chemicals you should have chlorine tablets in a floater as well. Once it's clear, all you should really need is keeping the chlorine tablets going. Occasionally, a pool shock here and there. Hope that helps.

Flocculant!!!  That helps with cloudiness.  You'll need to keep the pump running to keep filtering the pool and drop I'm chlorine tabs

When we had a pool we would test it every day and adjust chemicals as needed- the filter would let you adjust the amount of chlorine, for example.

I don’t know what ton about pools, but I know my uncle had a really nice inground pool and he would have to shock the pool. So there are shock chemicals you can buy at the pool store.
