Contractions??? So afraid

I'm 14 weeks pregnant. I keep feeling contractions...i know my baby isn't  big enough to be kicking through my belly and making it hard... It's no pain but it get really hard and tight and then goes away...every few minutes or so. I called my Dr and the nurse said "oh you're ok" but I know what I'm feeling feeling. I'm sooooo scared... Any advice?

Drink some water, i mean 2 or 3 cups. I had really bad bracxton hicks with my first and it was caused by minor dehydration and after 45 minutes drinking water they went away

it could be Braxton hicks. some people experience them very early and some not at all.

If you aren't bleeding you should be ok your body goes thur things everything moving around to make space for the baby and stuff

I've been feeling Braxton hicks since 8 weeks. This is my 4th pregnancy and I've felt them earlier every time. They can be pretty painful. Try and drink some water and rest and if they get worse call your OB back.

I've been getting Braxton hicks as well. They started around 10 weeks with this one, my doctor even saw one during an ultrasound! Take a rest and drink TONS of water and it should help. Keep track of them to be sure they aren't coming regular.

With my last pregnancy I started getting daily Braxton Hicks around 12 weeks and they lasted until I gave birth. Totally miserable, but not harmful. Hope yours ease off!

Lay down or sit with your feet up. Take a warm Epsom salt bath. Drink some tea.

I had bad cramps from 5 to 11 weeks and was constantly worried I was losing my baby, there was never no blood though.

I've had 3 scans and am now 13 weeks 2 days and my baby is complete fine.

They say it's the stretching etc, your body is accommodating your new baby. Try not to worry too much.

I had two episodes of some pretty each cramps that lasted 10-15 minutes each around weeks 5-6. I haven't had any since and I'm now 11 weeks with a confirmed healthy baby inside me. Your uterus is doing a lotttttt of changes right now! That thing has to accommodate a big babe in there somehow!

Have you had another pregnancy?  Contractions do come with a fair degree of pain.. It could be the uterus stretching as there is a quickening between the 14-18 weeks... It could be braxton hicks contractors which is just the uterus twitching and stretching.. That usually doesn't have pain...
