Is a "pill bleed" really a period?

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering, the type period bleed you get after you've finished your pack of pills, is it a reliable bleed? For example, can this tell you that you're not pregnant!? As i think i can speak for every couple, that when the girl gets the period, you're safe!

It's a withdrawal bleed because of not having the pill hormones for that week. You don't ovulate on birth control so it's not a 'real period' but if you happened to get pregnant, it should stop so you would know. If you were pregnant, the pregnancy hormones are stronger than the pill, hence why you wouldn't bleed. 😊
