Post Covid Thyroid issues

Has anyone seen a correlation between having Covid and sudden thyroid issues? I’ve always had normal thyroid levels, got Covid in January, just had blood work done 5 months later and they’re saying I have Hypothyroidism! So bizarre! Anyone else?
