Is 30+ years old too late to pursue a degree in education?

I'm looking for a career change. My concern is that I'm 30 & it's going to take a few years to obtain my license.
If I go for it, I plan on attending my local community college for an associate's degree & then I will bridge over for my bachelor's degree. This will save me money. I know that I'll have to go for my master's degree too. I'm just nervous about wasting my time. I know job markets are super competitive. 
Has anyone here made a late career change & do you have any advice?

You'll still be 30, pursuing a degree or not, the years will still pass. Wouldnt you rather they pass while you do something for yourself? 
Go for it! I'm a 23 year old who go to school with people who are in their 30s, with children, married. It's never too late!

No. Lots of people go into teaching as a second career. Be sure you’re passionate about it though - it is a difficult job, and often thankless, so you really need to WANT to be there.

My ex MIL went to nursing school at 50 and graduated with honors! It’s never too late for anything. Age can’t stop you if your motivation and determination is stronger 🥰
