Clicking while feeding. Do I need to see a lactation specialist?
My daughter is 3 weeks old and has been eating and gaining well but I’ve noticed the last week or so she started making clicking/smacking noises when she eats. I have a good supply, maybe a bit of an oversupply. I’ve tried different holds and latching and relatching, nothing has worked so far. Is this concerning enough to make an appointment with a lactation specialist or since she’s gaining well and I’ll not in pain is it no big deal?
