I have a question!! Help

So this morning I took a pregnancy test because I have vomiting for no reason lately and the ink in the pregnancy test went CRAZY like the red/ pink ink went everywhere but then it came out negative ( I knew it would my period just ended and I have pcos) but now all day today I've been feeling a sharp pain in my pelvis area of my lower stomach and it's driving me crazy... can someone give me a idea of what caused my pregnancy test to do that and why I have a constant sharp pelvis pain?? (I'm talking to a doctor Wednesday but I'm so curious!)
