Any idea what this could be?

My son has a rash on his legs and this morning I noticed it spreading to his belly. There’s none on his back or genitals but I can’t get in to the pediatrician because it’s the weekend. He has no fever and it doesn’t seem to bother him but it definitely gets worse after he sleeps

Thank you ladies! It was likely a chafing rash as it went away the next morning and hasn’t come back. Baby boy is doing great though. ❤️

Did you recently change to the huggies? It looks like hives and heat can sometimes make hives worse. Think of anything that may have changed and discuss with your pediatrician

Not sure because it is on his belly. My sons have had similar rashes on their thighs when their diaper chafes them at night. Putting them in tighter pants, like leggings, so their diaper can't rub their legs usually fixed it. 
Like another commenter said, it does look similar to hives as well. My sister has, on occasion, broken out in hives to cause unknown. But hers spread very rapidly.

I'm wondering if its a moisture rash. I agree with previous comment in maybe try sizing up diapers or using night time diapers during sleep (for my son they seem to retain more urine while he sleeps). It seems to be aligned with where the wetness from a diaper would touch.

Looks like it might be hives? 🤔 I have no advice other than to call the ped first thing Monday morning. Again, just my guess I honestly have no idea🤷‍♀️ but I hope for the best💜

**you mentioned it gets worse at night? I wonder if maybe it’s the urine? Maybe he needs to size up in diapers at night. (Maybe the reason it’s not on his bum/genitals is because the diaper wicks away the moisture, but it could be leaking to his legs/belly?) 🤔🤷‍♀️
