help! am i pregnant? teenager, precum, no protection , irregular cycle
hi :)
my bf & i had unprotected sex at the end of my period, about every other day during ovulation, & nearly every day after, but he never once finished inside me (we aren’t trying to get pregnant) however, we do have sex at least twice every time i see him, and usually by the second time he has already came once, just in a condom, but i know that can cause sperm to linger in his precum, and i’m not on any form of birth control.
i have an extremely irregular period (20-60 day cycles) so can’t rely on “missing” my period as a way to tell if i’m pregnant. the 3 apps i use predict my next one could start in 1-6 days, but there’s no way of telling until my period actually comes. i also have no idea when the conception date would have been, or even the exact end date of my ovulation since my entire cycle is irregular.
i took my first pregnancy test this afternoon but it showed negative. i don’t know how much to trust it or when to take another because there’s really only information for women with regular cycles, obviously 😂
i’m only 17 & alone in this until i find out for sure so literally any opinions are so helpful. here are a few of my symptoms:
- today i had to pee every 10 minutes but drank little water
- only my left breast is tender
- shortness of breath randomly but also after walking up just a couple stairs
- pulling/heaviness in lower abdomen
- high bbt, thinking ab eating or trying = nausea
- wake up in drenched in sweat and can’t sleep through the night
- metallic taste in mouth a couple weeks ago
- either hot & sweaty or freezing all day and night
- i’ve had diarrhea (with some mucus) and mild nausea in the morning for about a week
the first day we had sex with no condom was june 17th and we’ve been doing it pretty regularly since then - the last day we did was july 14th. so i could either be 4 weeks or just a couple days pregnant, i have no idea. my symptoms resemble closer to the 3-4 week side, though.
i’m pretty terrified & having at least 1 person to talk to about this scary stuff would be such a blessing, so thank you to anyone who has any kind of opinion they’re willing to share <333
