Cara Mia as a first & middle name?

Question

It means "my beloved" in Italian. My SO really loves this idea. We are Italian. He said "it's not like both are going to be her full first name. One is first & one is middle." What do you guys think? I'm on the fence. I do like the meaning, but I could see how it would come off cheesy too.

I think the idea is nice and not cheesy, but I think both name ending in the same sound make it sound too Doctor Suess-y. 
I do like the idea of a first and middle name meaning something together though. My husband and I talked about the name Maxine Joy for a girl because Maxine means greatest and so her name would mean Greatest Joy. But we had all boys.
