Planned C-Section

So my baby girl was breeched and my doctor scheduled me for a c-section. I was torn about them trying to flip her and decided against it. I requested an ultrasound at the hospital the day of the c-section and she was still breech, so we proceeded as planned. C-section went off without a hitch. In the operating room I was numb, but could feel the pulling and prodding. It’s a crazy sensation. When they tried to take her out they really had to jostle me because she was stuck. Shortly after I could feel the weight lifted and then got to see my baby girl. Recovery was painful, but manageable. I took things slowly, tried not too push myself too much. Support system is super important too. My SO did everything for me those first two days, I didn’t even have to change a diaper. I’ve read so many negative c-section stories and it really stressed me out, so I wanted to share my positive experience.
