Anyone else?

Anyone else dealing with ppd? My doctor prescribed me Zoloft. I haven’t started taking it yet as my pharmacy just filled the prescription. But I’m wondering if it’ll actually help. I’ve been struggling a lot lately and feel like it’s only gotten worse. I just wanna feel myself again and I feel so far from it.

I struggled with ppd with my first and went to a couple therapy/counseling sessions. And then it helped a bit. But when I got pregnant with our second I had prenatal depression. So my midwife suggested a therapist to me and then I started a similar medication to Zoloft in my 3rd trimester and took it til about 1 month pp. I feel like that little bit of time I was on it like reset things for me. I feel so much more like myself now. I hope you find something that helps you

I take it for PMDD and it’s been great. I took it for anxiety when I was in college and it was great then too.

No I hated Zoloft as a teen. Later in life I found out its basically synthetic methadone
