Anybody else sketched out by how little baby moves?

My kiddo seems to be moving VERY little anymore. But he does have some big movements a couple times a day. I know he’s getting squashed in there, and maybe I’m just comparing it to my first pregnancy, but he just hardly moves at all until REALLY late at night like 11:00 or midnight. 
And I knowwww the whole kick count thing, but it just feels… off.

call your doctor or go to l&d. they’d rather see/hear from you a million times to check on the baby then to have anything serious go wrong!!

My little man does this. Will have 6 days of having a rave and disco in my tummy then 2 days of barely anything. I’ve always gone straight into the maternity assessment centre and had the monitoring. Rather be safe than sorry!
They shouldn’t be moving any less the closer to delivery, that’s a myth that they run out of room.
Mum’s intuition, if you think it’s off go get checked. 99 times out of 100 everything is fine so I wouldn’t panic, but you’re right to analyse. Good luck! 💜

I’m a FTM so I don’t have a lot of insight, but I was told it’s not so much the kick count that matters but more of ‘is the baby following their pattern?’ I’ll feel a few thumps throughout the day, but then it’s when I settle in for the night and finally relax that I feel she gets really active. I hope this helps a little. If not, like others have said, it doesn’t hurt to ask or get checked.

I just asked my ob this Monday bc I said I don’t feel him all day only a little at night and he said because were up walking and there’s noise during the day baby sleeps usually and at night when we settle they wake and move and you aren’t just counting kicks it’s all movement so the pressure and turning they do counts too not just kicks

I’m the same! He only moves more at night. He is a chunky little baby. Doctor said he’s completely fine. As long as he moves or kicks 5 times in an hour when lying down. Try drinking something cold or sweet. Gets them to move. My baby just sleeps all day then wakes up before midnight until 2am

I know my child moves a looooot at night & early Morning but it very quiet during the day. If you feel something is wrong , just get things checked out.

I also have an anterior placenta so that’s why I feel him differently too

Do you have an anterior placenta? Maybe that is causing you to feel it less
