Blood in nipples

Hello friends

I am first time mom and getting some difficulties with breast feeding, I have tried so much and my 6 week old son won’t be able to latch properly so I have started doing Brest pumping so I can give him my milk but yesterday while doing breast pump I got blood from my one breast and when I checked my nipples I saw blood on them I would like to know if anyone had similar issues and is it normal to get blood while using pump ?
