How do you know if he really means it when he says he doesn’t want to lose you after messing up?

Only time will tell, if  you are willing to give him a second chance. Actions speak louder than words, so if  he continues to mess up or doesn’t treat you well then he is probably not worth your time or effort.

I agree time…and for me what he’s willing to do to help me. I’d probably have trust issues and would want some kind of couples therapy. If he’s willing to go, that would be a huge step in the right direction.

Depends on the mess up. Sometimes people just lose their chance. Its like being hired for a job.... and “stealing” from them during probationary period ..... you get FIRED. If its a civil offense u may get written up... or given another chance. You have to decide if what was done is a deal breaker. You as a wimen have a responsibility to look out for yourself and make lofical and healthy decisions that give u favorable outcomes in life. If its a repetitive offense or gross offense.... let him go

My mother always says don’t tell me you love me, show me you love me by your actions. Your behavior, etc. now if it’s infidelity like cheating, the trust has been broken, it’s like a crumbled piece of paper, you can never make the paper like brand new because the creases will always be there that is the trust that was broken. It will always be in the back of your mind, and you will always doubt everything that they say, if they are really working late, if they are really talking to who they say they are talking to, etc. depends what he did. And most of the time when somebody cheats, and you stay, that is you telling them that you don’t wanna be alone and that you will tolerate whatever so that you won’t be, and when they do it again, and they will, they know they are not going anywhere, which is why they do it over and over again. Because they take advantage of the fact that they know that you don’t want to be alone. This often stems to other things as well not just the infidelity, but anything else lying, anything that they could possibly use you for. They don’t respect you, they don’t appreciate you, by you staying with them that’s exactly what you’re telling them. As a behavior is not only acceptable but that you will tolerate it because you don’t want to be alone. You deserve better than that, you deserve happiness, you deserve to be in a relationship that you don’t have to doubt your partner and his intentions and if they are genuine and what they say and what they do. Like I said that paper will never be the way it once was because you will always be in the back of your mind.￼￼
