Help?!

Hi Mama's!

My son is 10 months old and I'm not so sure he's getting enough breastmilk anymore. He's a very distracted eater who only just cut his first tooth yesterday. Whenever I try to nurse him before solids, he fights me and fights hard! So I end up just giving him solids and then nursing him before naps/sleep.

The past couple of weeks he's been waking 4-5 times during the night, I suspect because of teething and will not let me put him down without him waking up so I end up feeding him to make sure he's asleep each time.

Do I need to start supplementing with some formula to make sure he's getting those milk requirements?

Is he waking so frequently because of teeth but also because he's not getting enough milk during the day?

I am so exhausted and heartbroken to even think about needing to supplement but I'm so lost. I don't know what to do. He's such a busy/nosy boy, I know he's hungry and needs milk but just refused.

I have tried bringing him to a quiet dark room each time he needs to nurse but it's not always possible and doesn't always work either.
