I gotta ask.

Is anyone else struggling so much to get a diaper on their baby?

He's almost 1yo, and he literally fights every diaper, even with distractions, toys.. Things that are not toys (he likes his vitamin bottle...) Everything.. Even if I take off his diaper and clean him up he'll be ok, just the sight of the new diaper maks him squirm and fight and kick out the new diaper...

I tried everything.. I changes diapers (brand/type) 4 times already, stickons to pullups, where pullups are easier to force him into.. But he's already black and blue on his legs because I have to force him in I feel like such a bad parent... Sometimes it even takes 2 to change the diaper, my husband needs to hold him down while I diaper him. That can't be normal, right??

I have even tried putting him on the potty a few times but he doesn't understand what it's for and he just cries because it's cold and he doesn't want to sit there.

I really wanted to use washable diapers but I'm really already struggling to get my laundry done and my husband veto'd me on it because he doesn't want poop in our laundry... (which we have anyways when he overflows but ok) but I don't think I could keep up with the laundry anyway...

Would washable diapers be the solution? I don't know...

Oh and btw: of all the diapers we have used, definitely with the pull-ups, he doesn't have any markings or scraped skin, not even any redness, nothing that indicates soreness or that he's uncomfortable...

I really hope someone can help, I don't want to keep forcing our baby...
