Do you wash your hair before getting it cut?

My stylist always washes my hair so I don’t plan a wash day on hair cut days. But I do if its a cut and color.

It makes no sense to wash your hair when you’re going to a salon that does it. Are these salons not washing y’alls hair  before cutting it?😅

I’m not a cosmetologist, but I worked at a salon for a while and they almost always washed clients’ hair before the cut because they style it when the cut is finished.

I'm lazy now so I make them so it because I only wash it once a week haha.  But when I was young and cheaper I did it myself

I trim and cut my own hair on wash days so it’s already clean.

I always wash and condition my hair before going. It seems like everytime I go and have it washed there, my hair gets pulled and it pisses me off so much. Plus I get charged so much extra because my hair is so thick and long. I just do it myself to avoid complaining about my tender head and walk in with my lions mane.
