I have 2 24 packs of water thats been sitting in my car for a week. Is it okay to donate them?

I live in Florida and I personally don’t like drinking water that’s been sitting in the sun for too long. I was going to throw them away, but something is telling me to donate them. Is this okay to do? I genuinely am not sure.

Put it in the fridge and use it… use it to water plants or use in a humidifier. Its not spoiled or bad… Thats a huge waste of water because you left it in your car and you dont like water that sits out.

If in direct sunlight no. The chemicals from the bottle leak into the water. Possibly if the bottle says bpa free. I wouldnt donate that though because your gut says no. Be upfront and ask a friend or coworker if thy want them

Donate them if you won’t use them. There’s nothing wrong with them. In the future, don’t buy bottled water if you don’t plan on using it. This can be easily avoided by getting a water filter and a reusable water bottle, assuming you live somewhere with safe water (which, since you were considered THROWING OUT water, you probably do).

I wouldn’t donate them, use for something other than drinking. Water in plastic bottles that gets over heated for a long time causes chemicals in plastic to breakdown and get into the water.

Where I live gas stations sell packs of bottled water that are literally sitting outside in the heat all day. So if they can get away with that, I'm sure you can still donate them.

No.  Harmful chemicals in the plastic leaches into the water, especially when left in a hot care for an extended amount of time.

The water will be fine after putting it in the fridge. Instead of buying bottled water try getting something like this that you can keep in the fridge and then you can just refill a reusable bottle. I have used one of these for years and it worked great.
