I out of the blue just decided to take one of my test strips to see if I had any hcg left , I’m 10 weeks postpartum and it shows that I do. Is that normal ? I vaguely remember, but I feel like when I tested post baby with my first it was gone after like week 3 or 4.

Of course I googled 🤦🏼‍♀️ and I read if there’s a possibility that there could be placenta left in your uterus it could produce hcg still . I’m unsure of that. But maybe ? I mean I literally just finished bleeding like last week since having my baby on may. And when I seen my dr he said if the bleeding doesn’t stop within a week you could probably have some left inside still. So it all makes me wonder.

Obviously only a dr can give me a real answer but I’m just so confused and curious.
