I’ve had trouble with itchiness in and around my vagina for almost six years now, I’ve had so many doctor and specialist visits and been on every cream, ointment, suppository, pill, gel, and wash you can imagine for everything from worms to thrush. My only diagnosis is dermatitis and it is at a point where it is manageable.

However for the last few months I’ve been having the same issue but I’m and around my anus! It is SO itchy and then because I’ve scratched it it stings and burns when I go to the toilet. I’ve tried barrier creams, internal haemorrhoid medication, and another round of worming tablets but nothing has relieved the itch.

Has anyone experienced this? Did you find out what it was or find some way to relieve the itching? At this point I’m wondering if it’s some sort of allergy and it’s my 💩 that I’m reacting to? I’ve had a test for celiac disease and also pin prick food allergy testing for the main 8 allergens but nothing 😞

It’s becoming really difficult to deal with now and I would appreciate any advice.
