Nurse or lawyer???

If given the choice would you become a nurse or lawyer and why? (If you don’t mind answering)

I worked in family law for 10 years and all the lawyers got to choose their own hours and have off for holidays and weekends as well as making loads of money.  Nurses are overworked, underpaid, and under appreciated

I chose lawyer. Before I got into computer science, I actually wanted to be a lawyer. If you get an absolutely shitty client, you don’t have the take their case. And I love being technically right, lmao. Nurses, however, don’t have a choice who they treat. Nurses are invaluable, but wow they take so much shit. I’m really the type of person that can only care for my family so intimately. I’m also an empath, so it wouldn’t be right for me, I’d probably end up very depressed and anxious because of the job.

Neither but I’d go with lawyer since I’m not great at dealing with blood and bodily fluids (other than my own kids!)

Lawyer. I can hardly take care of myself, let alone other people. Nurses are mistreated by patients and staff and not paid nearly enough for what they do. I couldn’t care for other people like that, sorry not sorry.

Though I've been told all my life I'm not smart enough to do higher studies... It's a bit too late for that now anyways 🤷🏻‍♀️ at the time, I believed what I was told.. That I wasn't smart enough.

I love nursing because of the versatility and , despite what everyone else thinks, the flexibility . I’m 23, make great money and have time to spend with my LO . There’s so much you can do with nursing too . You can even go back for your JD and practice law.

I agree with the other poster that nurses are overworked and underpaid. However, I would still choose that kind of helping people employment. I also became a psychologist, so I’m interested in how the human body and mind work. Nursing is more closely related to what I already love.
