Most adults aren't even up to date on their vaccines so why we make a big deal about kids I don't understand.  I'm not gonna go around my neighborhood asking everyone about their kids' vaccines.  All the kids in this neighborhood go play outside together every day.

One of my daughters is unvaccinated due to an autoimmune issue.  She goes to school and has played with many many children who have no clue what her vaccination status is 🤷‍♀️ it’s not their business

Yes. I don’t question parents about their kids vaccination status. It’s none of my business. My kids are fully vaccinated so they will be protected.

Yup! I have cousins who can’t vaccinate their kids. Mine are so they’re fine. If you go to a playground, you’d never know who is or isn’t…

If you are talking covid vaccine then yes (not offered to under 18s in the UK yet)... if you are talking generally then if I knew a child didn't have the standard vaccines then we wouldn't take a baby near them until they fully vaccinated 🤷🏼‍♀️

I waited until he was over a year old and had his first MMR vaccine to play with random kids at the playground. Weird analogy but just like you don't bring puppies under 6 months to the dog park ya know?

Yes, I let them play with the kids on our street,  but I know the parents/grandparents well and I know that they’re all fully vaccinated and have been cautious and following public safety protocols since the start of the pandemic. So for me, it’s a reasonable risk.
