When you pull away/act distant towards your male partner, does he reach out more and act more affectionate than usual? Every time my SO knows he fucked up I, of course, don’t feel very open or affectionate towards him, but he will suddenly be more affectionate than usual. For example, I can’t get him to even hold my hand in public usually, but when he knows he did something wrong and I’m upset, he’s all over me. Or he’s always cold and short via text, but will suddenly send messages with 😘… It’s incredibly frustrating that that’s the only time I see any sort of affection/effort from him.
