Just venting a little bit. I was diagnosed with a PUL (pregnancy of unknown location) on June 30th, and received methotrexate July 1st. My HCG was at its highest on July 4th, 4 days post injection and only got to a level of 57.

My last blood draw was the 13th, and was at a level of 50. Then, on the 15th I started bleeding…

I’ve been taking pregnancy tests since the 13th to monitor my HCG myself to watch the tests get lighter. All week my lines got fainter.

Today there was nothing.

I don’t know how to feel, but at most I’m relieved and excited.

I’m excited to try again despite the loss, yet at the same time terrified.

I was inconsolable when this all happened, and this being my first pregnancy has me worried for any future ones.

I just would love to speak with other women about this, and maybe ask; was your next pregnancy successful?

I had no tubes removed as my pregnancy never got big enough to see it’s location.
